In order to submit an abstract, all participants must be previously registered on congress. Each congress registration permits the submission of two abstracts.
Abstracts must be submitted in online system from FEB.19 to MAY.22, and linked to the appropriate symposium (or section). Remember to select the option of your presentation: oral or poster. Due to time schedule, only few participants will be able to present in oral way. Symposium (or sections) coordinators reserve the right to assign abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation.
The abstract should be written in English using the font type Times New Roman (11 points), with single spaced lines. Title of the abstract is bold and centered. Author’s names are written in full (given name and family name) and the presenter should be underlined. Authors are separated by commas, their affiliation must be cited (institution, country). First author’s email address is included (italic). Abstract text is a single paragraph and not exceeded 400 words. Five keywords must be added at the bottom of the abstract. See abstract template.
Acceptance notifications will be sent by e-mail. Abstracts will be published congress book.
IPC/IOPC Brazil – Presentations
Oral presentations are 15 minutes each, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion (total of 20 min). Speakers are reliant not to overrun this time limit. Slides must be created in Microsoft Power Point format. All presentations must work on MS-Windows 7 operational system. English is the official language for all presentations.
Please, upload and preview your data at the Media Check Desk the day before your presentation. You will not be allowed to use your own laptop for your presentation. Please name the file as follow: Session # – presenter’s surname.
Please ensure your poster does not exceed 120cm high x 90cm wide. It must be fixed in the scheduled session day, at 8am, as will be indicated in the Final Program. Presenters should bring their own materials to hang their posters up to 10:00 on the day of their presentation. We will provide a printed code identifying each poster, according to the Program Book.
In the assigned presentation day, author must stay at the exhibition area wearing his/her conference name badge to present their posters from 6pm to 7.30pm. After the session, please remove your poster. English is the official language for all presentations.
